Hairstylist

The Hairstylist Career and Transition Program prepares students towards becoming trained professional hairstylists. The program provides basic theory and hands on practice to enable students to become competent in the latest hair design techniques. The program creates a positive fun environment where students receive their training in a modern, fully equipped hair salon.

The Hairstylist Career and Transition Program is comprised of 7 courses, usually taken in grades 11 and 12. Specific course information may be found in our course handbook.  For more information, please contact our Cosmetology Program Coordinator, Kimberly Ryley, kryley@sd61.bc.ca .
