Course Description:
Scholarship 12 is a four-credit linear course designed to prepare students with essential skills to make a successful transition to post-secondary pursuits. These skills include researching post-secondary institutions, building an effective scholarship application package, and developing a plan to transition financially. All assignments are geared toward building a full scholarship package. This course is managed by a teacher and supported by the Career Resource Center Coordinator.
Getting Started
- Register for the course during spring course selection; to be added after this process, please see a counsellor.
- Renew your Google Apps For Education (GAFE) or sign up for a GAFE account from the school district student link. You require a GAFE email (sd61learn.ca) to access to the course site.
- Sign up for the Scholarship 12 Google classroom with the course code and instructions provided by Mr. Wallace, the course teacher for 2023-2024. All Scholarship postings, assignments and calendars of key dates are posted in the Google classroom for this course.
