When I tell people that I am the Principal of Vic High, a common response is “oh, what a beautiful building.”  It most certainly is. The renovation project completed in 2024 merged the best of the old – huge windows, wide hallways, stunning wood and stonework, ornate fixtures and architecture – with the best of the new – amazing teaching, learning and collaborating spaces.

However, the true beauty of Victoria High school isn’t the building itself – it is our population. This beautiful building vibrates with the energy of a dedicated, caring and knowledgeable staff, supporting over 1100 amazing students. Those students make me smile every day with their passion, creativity and gifts in academics, athletics and the arts. It is my favourite thing in the world to watch students participating in activities they love and find joy in, and I’m so proud of how much Vic High has to offer every student who comes up our historic stone steps every morning.
