Take Our Kids to Work (TOKW)

Take Our Kids to Work (TOKW) day is an annual event for Grade 9 students. TOKW provides an opportunity for students to job-shadow a parent, family friend, neighbour, or relative for a day. The job-shadow experience allows students to experience the world of work and to begin thinking about career choices. More information is linked here:

This year, TOKW happens on Wednesday, November 1st. A parent information guide and consent form are provided. Parents who wish to have their Grade 9 students participate in TOKW are asked to sign and return the consent form to the school prior to November 1st.

Post Secondary Institutions Visit – October 25, 2017

During the afternoon of October 25th, representatives from eight BC Post-Secondary Institutions will meet with our Grade 11 & 12 students at Vic High.
