Take Our Kids to Work (TOKW)
Take Our Kids to Work (TOKW) day is an annual event for Grade 9 students. TOKW provides an opportunity for students to job-shadow a parent, family friend, neighbour, or relative for a day. The job-shadow experience allows students to experience the world of work and to begin thinking about career choices. More information is linked here: http://www.thelearningpartnership.ca/what-we-do/student-programs/take-our-kids-to-work/getting-started/parents.
This year, TOKW happens on Wednesday, November 1st. A parent information guide and consent form are provided. Parents who wish to have their Grade 9 students participate in TOKW are asked to sign and return the consent form to the school prior to November 1st.
