Chartwells – Today’s Special is a Quesadilla for $3.75.

Vic High's Leadership class will be having a BBQ today at lunch in the plaza area in front of Fairey Tech. Hotdog, drink and chips for $3.00. All profits will go to Free the Children. Please help us support this worthy organization! The R & B Band and our guests from Ottawa will both be playing outside. It will be great- hope to see you all there.  Lunch will be extended today. The lunch bell will ring at 11:22 and classes will start again at 12:28.

A reminder to Fashion Design 12 students to meet in room 202 at noon today for the field trip.

Attention Grads! If you are still looking for your tux or gown for the Grad dinner/dance you may wish to see Ms. Dietiker or Ms. Maxwell for a great idea.

International students: if you haven’t arranged your flight home or your education plans for the summer, please do so as soon as possible. The deadline for travel forms—and your flight itinerary—is June 1.

International students should also remember that Summer School forms are available. If you’re planning to go to Summer School & you have not registered yet, please see Ms Dietiker as soon as possible.

CAREER CENTRE
Camosun College Information Sessions

The next information session is tomorrow, May 17th. Students considering Camosun College are encouraged to attend. Prospective students will meet college staff and may ask specific questions about the programs offered, the costs, and prerequisites. Volunteering
Operation Track Shoes is a sports festival for persons with developmental disabilities. Operation Track Shoes needs volunteers for their annual event the weekend of June 8 – 10 at the University of Victoria.

The Victoria Flying Club will host an Aviation Open House, Saturday, May 26 from 10 – 3. This is for students interested in becoming a pilot or those wanting to learn more about aviation careers.

Rhino Labour has an immediate need for temporary and part-time workers. At this time, they have more positions than workers to fill these positions. Jobs are available for both men and women.
